Introduction: Generalised lipodystrophy is clinically characterised by lipoatrophy, hepatomegaly, hypertriglyceridemia, insulin resistance and acromegaloid features. It is recognised that diencephalic syndrome is a rare presentation of hypothalamic tumours in infants and young children.
